we should wear blaze orange

we should tell our story
the ancient truth of salvation
the life and death of Jesus
how he died and rose again
we should live out the gospel
sharing the good news
being God’s hands and feet
His light in this world

too many believers
are silent in trouble
too many disciples
invisible in the world
we seek perfection
in the sanctuary
we study your word
we gather in prayer circles

but we are to live out
our faith in the open
loving as Jesus loved
while He walked with us
sharing the joy
that beats within us
offering Christ
to all those we meet

we should not be invisible
clandestine believers
we should wear blaze orange
for all to see
we should be a light
burning in the darkness
a hope of eternity
spending life with God.
