removing the veil – v2

removing the veil
the filter, the color
the skin of green
the veil of summer
that we hide behind

exposed flesh
our true selves
our hearts wide open
who we truly are
in the colors of autumn

removing he veil – v2

October 3, 2014
removing the veil
opening prayer about change of seasons,
how green is not the leaves’ true colors
&
Children’s message – mystery box
-          green maple leaf and a colored maple leaf
-          the green color of the leaves is not the true color
-          this is the color we have when we are being fed
-          nurtured in the spring and summer with the Word;
-          we shine our true colors in autumn
-          sharing our true color with God and the world
-          staying close to God
-          each an individual
-          shining the colors of Christ
