Unintelligible Prayers – v8

Silent prayers deep within us
needing to be let go of
groans within our spirits
musings of our hearts only
sometimes with no words
an ache tearing at us deep inside
needing to be given to God

Unintelligible prayers
to others if they heard them
musings, groans from within
yet words of love, of petition,
raised, lifted up to God
letting go of them
released from our hearts

To the listening ear
to the heart of God
one heart spoken to another
given to our Master, Creator
to our Savior and friend
in God is our reward
our relief from the storm
