All of this changing

the tableau of springtime

a cascade of color

every  variation of green

from the brightest

to the warmest

alive in this morning

shining through the fog

a taste evolving

The mist of the morning

giving up its secrets

the forest alive and vibrant

from grasses, the ferns,

up to the tree tops

The tableau of the morning

alive with wonder

a taste evolving

leading to summer
