my spirit rejoices in God my Savior – v2

my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
my soul glorifies my Lord
for He has blessed me greatly
I am a humble maidservant
I am your vessel, You yourself made me;
use me Lord, as You will
I am overwhelmed, I am humbled,
to think You have chosen me
to bear Your child, the Messiah,
the fulfillment of scripture,
the One foretold,
to set our people free
