we are inert matter

we are God’s creation

we are created by God

in God’s own image

we live, we have life,

by the breath God gives us

each day numbered

in the span of our lives

we are created by God

for God’s own purpose

we are gifted with talents

for the glory of God

we live, we have life,

by the breath God gives us;

we have work to do
