the scales balanced – v2

the Law satisfied

Christ was our sin offering

the life of Christ offered for all,

All since the beginning of time.

the scales balanced

all of our debts paid

by the prayer of Christ,

“Father, forgive them,

for they know not

what they do.”

how true are these words

we don’t have any conception

of what our sins cost

the man on the cross.
